Blackjack rules
The goal of the game Blackjack is to have a higher card count than the dealer but without exceeding 21. Your only opponent in blackjack is the dealer, no matter how many players there are at the table.
First, each player places a bet. The dealer deals each player with two cards face up from his left to right. The dealer also deals himself two car, only one of them face down (hole card). Starting from the dealer’s left, players decide whether they take more cards (hit) or not (stand). Each player can take more cards until his/her count does not exceed 21 (bust). After all the players take their turns, the dealer takes his.
In blackjack, the dealer has more rigid rules than the player. For example, if he has a card count of 17 or more, he must stand. If the count is 16 or less, he must hit.
Remember that your only opponent in blackjack is the dealer. You don’t have to keep track of other players. The hand that has a card count closest but not exceeding 21 wins. If the dealer busts and you don’t, you win, no matter what card count do you have. If you bust, you lose, even if the dealer busts too.
